How To: Fit a Bike Helmet

Learn the basics of how to fit a bike helmet for kids!

Take the mystery out of the proper bike helmet fit with this video! Learn how to figure out if the helmet is the right size, and how to adjust the strap. Test the fit and you’re good to go!

Biking with Avid4 Adventure will take your kids down gorgeous winding trails, up challenging hills, and through some of the most beautiful scenery in the country. Under the instruction of our awesome staff, they’ll advance their skill set and have an amazing time.

Grouped by grade level and ability, in our biking courses kids will get to explore beautiful trails while learning how to use technical skills for riding ascending, descending, and winding trails; how to read hills; how to properly fit biking gear, and much more!

With help from our seasoned instructors, campers spend the week practicing mountain biking skills, learning bicycle maintenance basics and traversing the terrain of some of their community’s best beginner parks and trails.

Our campers’ adventures are carefully customized so they progress as their comfort and skill level grows. We also group kids by grade to be sure they’re in good company as they build confidence and further their mastery of mountain biking.
