We understand that COVID-19 continues to affect each family differently and we are committed to supporting each individual camper and parent through transparent and excellent customer service. Our COVID-19 Policies and Procedures (last updated March 2021) are outlined in our Avid4 Adventure Opening Plan.

We have created cancellation/change policies that are easy to understand, flexible, and transparent.

What if... 
You want to hold your spot:Cancel for any reason within 24 hours of registering and receive a full refund.
You can’t pay for everything right now:Sign up for camp with a deposit of 25% of the camp cost. The remaining balance is split into equal monthly payments paid on the 1st of each month with a final payment on the 1st day of the month before your camp session starts.
You need to change your dates or type of campIf you need to change your dates or sessions up to 14 days before the start of the camp session, just email info@avid4.com and we’ll make that change for free! Subject to availability.
You need to cancel and there are more than 14 days before your camp starts.Receive 100% of the amounts paid as a credit that can be used for any Avid4 Adventure purchases through December 2022. If you need a refund, we can provide one minus a 7% processing fee.
You need to cancel and there are less than 14 days before the camp starts.We are sorry, on such short notice, no credit or refund is available. *However, if you are canceling due to COVID, then see below.
Avid4 needs to cancel before the start of your camp session and it is because of external mandates or health ordersReceive 100% of amounts back - 90% paid as a refund to the original payment method and 10% paid as credit that can be used for any Avid4 Adventure purchases through December 2022.
Avid4 needs to cancel before the start of your camp session and it is NOT because of external mandates or health ordersReceive 100% of the amounts paid as a refund back to the original payment method or as credit that can be used for any Avid4 Adventure purchases through December 2022.
Avid4 needs to cancel for any reason after the start of your camp sessionReceive a prorated refund back to the original payment method based on the number of days the program runs.

Payments, Fees, and Discounts

Payments

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.

Camp Registration Fee

For all of our camps, a 1-time fee per summer of $18 per camper is charged to cover registration system fees, bank fees, and various local & state rec permit fees related to using the many beautiful recreation areas we take campers to. Thank you for your understanding.

Covid Safety Contribution

Avid4 will spend over $400,000 in 2021 to enhance the health and safety of our campers and staff. When registering for camp you can make an optional contribution that will help offset a small portion of that amount. Suggested amounts are $4 for one-week half-day camps, $8 for one-week camps, and $16 for two-week camps. If you would prefer to add a smaller amount or nothing at all – thank you just as much!

Multi-Week Discounts

When registering multiple weeks in the same season, please be aware of the following:

  • Multi-week discounts only apply to individual campers.
  • The discount is automatically applied at the time of checkout (sessions must be purchased in the same transaction).
  • Multi-session discounts can be combined with other discounts where a code is used.
