With an acute focus on the health and safety of campers and staff, we have created alternative day camp programs that dramatically reduce the chance of COVID-19 transmission. We hope that you’ll find these alternative options appealing and that you can use your existing purchases to transfer into these camp options. Moreover, we hope that your kids find these alternatives to be a welcomed change from the chaotic world we are living through right now.
Should we need to cancel any of our newly developed alternative programs that you sign up for, no worries, any amount beyond the credits used to purchase the camp(s) will be fully refunded less a $25 administrative fee (per registration) used to cover expenses related to the transaction, credit card fees, and the like.
If you do need a refund, please understand that we are a year-round, small business. We incur expenses throughout all four seasons. We have a year-round staff to develop curriculum, secure recreation permits, scout expedition sites, maintain our high-quality gear, develop professionally, etc. Additionally, we have monthly rent and insurance obligations, commit to annual memberships to advocacy groups that align with our values, and are always searching for the best seasonal talent to instruct your kids in the summer.
As much as we’d like to, we simply can not refund your original camp fees in their entirety. Please understand that these unprecedented times call for unprecedented actions. Thank you for your continued support of our mission to empower kids to choose active and healthy outdoor lifestyles.
Our COVID-19 Cancelation & Refund Policy
We understand that COVID-19 has affected (and will continue to affect) each family differently. We have created a new cancellation policy to give you more flexibility. Please choose the option that best fits your situation:
If you need to cancel, this must be done at least 7 days before the camp starts to receive any credit or refund. *Unless the cancellation is directly related to Covid-19 diagnosis or exposure. Please email email@example.com for any cancellations.
We understand that right now, every family is being affected by the Coronavirus in different ways. At Avid4, we are committed to supporting each individual camper and parent through transparent and excellent customer service. Session Date Changes:
No charge for changing session dates up to 7 days before the start of the camp session.
To change your session dates: Email email@example.com your full name, participant’s full name, camp that you are registered for, the camp dates, the camp you want to transfer to and the new camp dates. You will receive an email confirmation within 48 hours. *Subject to availability.
Camp Registration Fee:
Typically, every customer needs to pay a once-per-year $18 registration fee for their first camp purchase (for any Avid4 camp). If you had signed up for a camp that we canceled, then 100% of your purchase price and your registration fee will be transferred into your account as credit.
If you are registering for your first camp of Summer 2020, then you will see an additional one-time registration fee added to any Overnight Camp registration plus any Small Group Adventure registration.

Avid4 Adventure is the sole owner of information collected on this site and through our registration provider’s site, Active.com. The only exception is registration information for programs at the Valmont Bike Park, which is shared with the park’s owner, the City of Boulder. We will not sell, share, or rent this information to others in ways different from what is disclosed in this statement. Avid 4 adventure collects information from our users at several different points on our website. Our website offers several opportunities for visitors to register for promotional and informational mailings. These registration forms are often linked to Avid4 Adventure’s mailing lists and request users to give contact information (such as name and email address). We use this contact information to send users information about our company and its products and services if requested or necessary. Users may opt-out of receiving future mailings at any time (see the choice/opt-out section below).
Sharing and Usage
We will never share, sell, or rent your personal information with third parties for their promotional use. Occasionally, we enter into contracts with third parties so that they can assist us in servicing you (for example, providing registration service).
