We, as a community, are here for you and offer our support. The fires that burned in Boulder County had devastating effects for so many people, including members of our immediate and extended Avid4 community.
Families who lost their homes needed (and need) immediate support, and also a bit of future hope. Avid4 Adventure has developed a multi-faceted plan for those kids and families directly affected by the fires.
We are running a free week of Avid4 Adventure camp just for kids whose homes were damaged or destroyed by the fire. This will be a special week of camp. Not only will kids have a positive and fun time climbing, biking, hiking, and paddling, but they (and their parents) will be able to feel a special type of connection and empathy with other kids and families in a similar situation to them. Due to Avid4 staffing considerations, space will be limited for this week of camp.
If for some reason those camp dates don’t work for your schedule and you would still like access to camp, please reach out to us. Although our financial assistance applications are now closed – let’s connect. Just email us at [email protected].
Giving away camp and bikes has real costs. Avid4 Adventure is truly happy to cover these expenses in support of our community. And, we would also like to invite you or your organization to make a financial contribution to directly support these efforts. Thank you.
