TESTIMONIALS

All of the instructors were awesome. Patient with some of my daughter's challenges due to ADHD and overall just positive people with a passion for what they were doing.

I really am impressed at how enthusiastic all the counselors are and the Director. It is SO nice to see every person engaged and smiling and looking parents in the eye and telling us how the day went. A++!!!

Our son has always been an adventurous kid who likes new experiences, but can, on occasion, get too much into his head and talk himself out of keeping up with the hard thing in order to succeed. He came out of camp this week incredibly confident and bursting with pride over his ability to ride a bike without training wheels. He wanted to ride all evening and couldn’t stop smiling and saying how proud of himself he is. Thank you!

Our child on the first day introduced herself by saying "Hi, I'm Ada and I don't want to go into the water." instead of saying, okay, you don't have to go in the water, the consistent message from each counselor that this occurred with was "I understand that you're nervous about the water. Each camper has their own personal flotation device, and we teach you what you need to know outside the water first, and if you're still not comfortable about doing it on your own, you can ride with an instructor." to which she said "okay" every time. they really knew what to say to draw out the inner adventurer from her timid shell. By the second week, she was excited to kayak and paddleboard again. Something her parents have never even done, this 6-year-old did it safely, while making great memories and building competence.
