Day Camp is a great option for first time Avid4 Adventure campers, or campers that aren’t quite ready for an overnight experience.
We offer half day and full day camp options.
Kids are grouped by age and can request to be in the same group as their friends.

Our week long Expedition Camps transport 5th-12th graders to some of the most stunning, secluded natural spaces for an authentic and transformative experience.
Our Expedition camps are a great option for kids that are ready for adventures away from home, and ready for full immersion into ‘camp life’.
Expeditions provide a smaller group setting where many life-long friendships are formed. Kids are grouped by age and can request to be in the same group as their friends.

Our Overnight Camps are two weeks long and located in two different locations in beautiful Colorado: Camp Windy Peak near Bailey, CO and Camp Blue Sky (formerly Camp Mt. Evans) near Evergreen, CO. Kids sleep in cabins and get to experience all the fun of ‘summer camp’ while building their skill sets in our core outdoor sport activities.
Overnight camp is great for kids that have previously experienced a Day Camp and are now ready for their first overnight adventure. While kids are grouped by age and can request to be in the same group as their friends, there are more than 100+ kids at camp in every session. This is a great opportunity to make new friends.

We’re on a mission to get kids excited and empowered by outdoor adventure. We help kids gain confidence, make new friends, and improve their skills in our core outdoor sport activities. We offer day camps as well as extended overnight camp options. All camps provide daily adventures in our core sport activities: paddling, biking, rock climbing, or hiking.

Our camps teach kids of all skill and ability levels—from first-timers to seasoned adventurers—to assess their environment and approach risks intelligently. Kids build a foundation of confident, sound judgment they can use in the outdoors—and throughout their lives.
Avid is the best! There is a great mix of activities to keep the kids engaged and excited. The staff is amazing; they truly care about the kids.
A personal call was made in advance to my daughter attending the camp to find out if we had questions and they inquired about things my daughter would like to learn or experience.
My daughter started out very nervous but by the end was totally comfortable with the format and activities. She was mostly independent.
