The Rock & Roll Expedition summer camp combines our popular rock climbing and mountain biking programs to create a unique one-week experience led by experienced staff that includes 2 days of climbing, 2 days of biking, plus a day of white water rafting. This trip is the perfect combo for a camper who wants to learn more about both sports but isn’t ready to commit to a full week of just one.
On climbing days, campers will explore a range of engaging and challenging routes at local crags. They’ll break into small climbing teams to get comfortable with their equipment, practice climbing techniques and try out different roles within their team.
On biking days, campers will hone their technical and trail riding skills like bunny hops, cornering, and track stands, plus learn bike maintenance as they explore area trails.
Difficulty Rating: 2 – Single Sport Specialty: For campers seeking more specialized activity days and excelling in technical skills in two single sports.
Wilderness Rating: 1 – Improved Site Camping: Campers sleep in basecamp tents. No access to showers, or running water. Campers will have access to portable toilets or pit toilets that do not have flush capabilities. All water is brought to site filtered and used for drinking, hand washing, and food preparation.
