Our weeklong multi-sport expedition camp introduces high schoolers of all experience levels to the diverse and dramatic landscape of Curt Gowdy State Park in Wyoming, where they’ll take on new adventures every day and camp under the stars each night. Just 24 miles west of Cheyenne in the foothills of the Laramie Mountains, Curt Gowdy offers a gorgeous mix of lush meadows, low hills and striking granite crags, all ripe for a range of adventures.
Truly a multi-sport experience, this expedition encourages teens to explore the park through a multitude of engaging sports and activities. After setting up the campsite they’ll call home throughout the week, campers will embark on a different adventure every day—hiking and biking an array of trails, climbing crags, stand up paddleboarding and white water rafting — each new challenge building lasting skills and a deep appreciation for the natural world.
From pitching tents to paddling through rapids to practicing good decision making, expedition campers will have countless opportunities to reflect, grow, connect with their peers and become one with their environment. It’s an eye-opening, life-changing experience—and an adventure they’ll never forget.
