Our weeklong multi-sport expedition camp lets 7th – 9th graders explore the diverse and dramatic landscape of Columbia River Gorge in Oregon, taking on a range of adventure sports by day and camping under the stars by night. Located along the Columbia Gorge, Beaver Campground nestled in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest serves as your adventurer’s home base for the week. With over 1.3 million acres of forests, mountains, river valleys, waterfalls, wildernesses, and volcanoes in the National Forest, it’s a perfect spot for adventures.
We call the camp “multi-sport” because every day offers up a new sport for kids to try, from waterfall hiking, rock climbing, and biking on land to white water rafting. They’ll also hone their camping skills as they set up, maintain and break down the campsite they’ll call home throughout the week.
Building solid know-how in everything from cooking outdoors to practicing Leave no Trace and improving teamwork skills, campers will gain a newfound respect for the natural world and forge deep connections with their fellow campers. It’s an unforgettable experience full of opportunities to grow, one that imparts confidence and independence that lasts long after the expedition ends.
