Small Group Adventures Burlingame, CA - 2nd-4th / 4th-7th

We have had incredibly high demand for our Small Group Adventures. Many sessions are now sold out. If you are flexible with your dates, please search alternative dates. Also, please check out our Camp at Home programs that currently have more availability.

Avid4 Adventure Small Group Adventures are action-packed weeks of outdoor activities for a small group of 4 or 5 kids! Campers will be led by an Avid4 instructor in the sport of your choice: Stand Up Paddleboarding or Mountain Biking. Your experienced and health-screened instructor will then meet you at a local recreation area for your 6 hour day of activities.

Small Group Adventures are the perfect way to spend time outside this summer while keeping our group sizes small. Get ready for this awesome new program!

*Parents will meet our instructor at recreation locations between 15-30 minutes away (depending on where you live), for example Mori Point or Lake Merced.

We are tracking the state and county public health orders closely and are hopeful to be able to run our Small Group Adventure program. Depending on the changing recommendations from the CDC, state and county governments, and medical experts, we may need to cancel or adjust these programs. What You Can Do!

Mountain Biking

Stand Up Paddleboarding

Kids will spend the week building confidence outdoors and furthering their skills in mountain biking. We’ll get kids familiar with biking technique, safety and equipment out on local trails.

Please note: campers must be confident with riding a bike on two wheels on a dirt trail. Kids are also required to bring their own bikes (please ensure tuned & ready) and helmets. This camp is offered for 2nd-4th and 4th-7th grades.

Stand Up Paddleboarding is a hit with kids of all ages. Campers will build their core strength as they learn to balance on their boards through games and challenges. They’ll also master proper strokes and rescue techniques.

This camp is offered for 2nd-4th and 4th-7th grade campers.

While no outdoor adventure is totally risk-free, we work hard to keep your kids safe. Every activity starts with a discussion about the risks involved -- what they are, how to prevent them, how to respond if something goes wrong -- so kids learn how to approach challenges with intelligence and skill.
