Tour Our Mt. Evans Resident Camp for entering 1st - 6th graders

Are you considering overnight camp for 2020 or beyond? Help relieve any worries you or your child might have by seeing the camp, touring our facilities, and asking our staff questions in person during our 2019 summer session.

We know overnight camp is an investment and an emotional decision, so it’s important to do your research.  Avid4 Adventure’s overnight camp is about the lasting impact that comes when all kids—whatever their ability or confidence level—learn to face new challenges, push beyond their comfort zones and make sound, independent decisions. Tours will be at our Mt. Evans location in Evergreen, Colorado, for entering 1st-6th graders and 11th-12th graders interested in our Staff-in-Training program. Please note that our Expedition Camps are entirely off-site, so tours are specifically for our resident camp programs.

What Happens On A Tour

Campers and their parents will remain together throughout the duration of the tour. Our staff will walk you through all of our on-site facilities including the cabins, dining halls, outside recreation areas, and more. At the end of the tour is a question and answer session where you will meet the Director and can ask all of the questions you might have, no matter how big or small. While you won’t participate in any camp activities during the tour, our goal is to help you gain a thorough understanding of our program. We also invite you to check out the local sites recommended below!

Where Is The Tour

The Mt. Evans location is for campers who will be entering 1st-6th grades the school year that follows camp.  Rising 11th-12th graders interested in our Staff-in-Training program work at Mt. Evans, so they should also sign up for a Mt. Evans tour.
