Refer NowWhy is Avid4 Adventure voted one of Outside Magazine’s Best Places to Work year after year? Because when you work here, your office is the outdoors. Atop mountains, in rivers and on trails, alongside colleagues that share your passions, your to-do list consists of teaching curious kids how to paddle, climb, hike, bike, and thrive in the outdoors. This isn’t your typical day (or overnight) job. It’s an adventure you’ll never forget. Our summer seasonal staff work from late May/early June through early August. We embrace diversity! Visit our Inclusivity page to learn more.
We are hosting a 2023 Virtual Hiring Event April 26 & 27 where we’ll be conducting virtual interviews for our many summer job opportunities. Register on our event page to schedule your interview – we can’t wait to meet you!

We know your time is valuable, so we’ve organized our application and interview process to be convenient for YOU! See below for all the steps. We expect the process to be completed in 1-2 weeks.
Step 1: Application
Complete an application for the job and location you feel suits you best! Our Talent Acquisition Specialists can explore a variety of options with you during the live placement interview. Applications are mobile friendly and summer instructor applications take just 3 minutes to complete!
Step 2: References
Once you have submitted your initial application, you will receive an invite to submit 3 references. These references can be either personal or professional such as a coworker, manager, teacher, professor, coach, mentor, etc. (however, they cannot be a current Avid4 Adventure employee). Your references will be sent a very short email questionnaire, please let them know we’ll be reaching out!
Step 3: Sparkhire One-Way Interview
You will also be asked to complete a one-way interview with Spark Hire based on the role you have applied for. Spark Hire interviews can be completed on your laptop or phone, and there are multiple chances to answer each question. For more insight and specifics for how our one-way interviews work, click here.
Step 4: Placement Interview
After you’ve completed the Spark Hire One-Way Interview, a Talent Acquisition Specialist will invite you to a 20 minute live placement interview where they will help to find the position, program, and location for you!
