A Day in the Life: Summer Overnight Camp

Your Day (and Night) at Overnight Camp

Working at overnight camp is a 24-7, always-on experience—you’ll live in a cabin with your campers, spending your days nurturing and inspiring them as they build confidence climbing, biking, paddling, ziplining, fly fishing, horseback riding, and lots more. In the evenings, you’ll embrace your silly side, dressing up, putting on skits, playing games, and going all out to make sure your campers have the time of their lives–all while having a pretty great time yourself!

You’ll work 8 – 10 weeks of the summer (including training), from June to mid-August. You’ll partner with another instructor to helm a team of 13 or fewer kids driving them offsite for adventure activities during the day and, if you’re working with 4th – 11th graders, leading them on a multi-day wilderness expedition as well.
