A Day in the Life: Summer Day Camp Jobs

Your Day at Day Camp

Our weeklong day camps for pre-K – 7th graders introduce kids to the power of outdoor adventure, teaching them rock climbing, mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking, stand up paddleboarding, hiking and survival skills. Our multi-sport camps let kids try a different adventure activity every day, while our single-sport camps give them the whole week to focus on one sport.

As an instructor, you’ll work for 10 – 12 weeks during the summer, either in the Front Range in Colorado or the Bay Area in California. You’ll be paired with another instructor to lead a team of no more than 13 kids, grouped by grade. Most days, you’ll drive your group to a local crag, lake or trail to take them on an adventure. If you work with pre-K campers, your adventures will stay mostly onsite.
