Mill Valley – Biking for Tykes
Self-sufficient bikers who can pedal without training wheels, age three and a half to six, learn new skills in cycling in our half-day, Biking for Tykes day camp. Nurtured by skilled, patient instructors in a supportive on-site environment, our pint-sized pedalers enjoy camper-to-staff ratios of 5:1 for lots of individual attention and personalized coaching tailored to their level.
We group kids by ability and meet them exactly where they are, working through skills like turning, hand signals and technical skills on small ramps. We also make time for games, offering campers opportunities for fun and confidence building both off and on their bikes.
Biking for Tykes is intended for kids pre-K – 1st grade who can already ride. While campers are encouraged to use their own bikes, they can also borrow from our fleet.
