Spring and early Fall is the perfect time to visit the amazing areas in and around Moab, Utah. We will be camping along the Colorado River about 10 miles outside of Moab at Big Bend or Goose Island Campground in a secluded group site.
Each day, Avid4 Adventure’s most experienced guides will provide canyon hikes, rock climbing, and natural history explorations for your youngsters for half the day (giving parents a chance to get out for a bit of recreation on their own) and family time for the other half of each day.

Before April 1st : You can hold your space with a non-refundable deposit of $250 per family. Final payment is due on April 1 st and will be automatically placed on your credit card unless you make alternative prior arrangements.After April 1st: Full payment is due at time of registration to hold your spot.

We will be camping along the Colorado River as it flows along the base of Arches National Park’s great slickrock walls in a group site well secluded from the bustle of most visitors. Just 10 miles from the adventure center of the Southwest, the Moab area offers outstanding desert outdoor activities, western history, and National natural icons. With Arches National Park, Canyonlands National Park, Dead Horse Point State Park and the Colorado River all within an 1/2 drive of our fully supported camp, the toughest part of the trip may well be deciding what to do during your 3
days in this amazing area. Experience these natural wonders of the world with Avid4 Adventure and our most senior staff will facilitate these deluxe camping vacations with full kitchen and meal preparation, family size tents, and all specialized equipment included. All of our healthy and tasty meals were carefully designed with the assistance of Professional Chef Staci Rieder. Having a positive and memorable family experience can’t be much easier, just pack your bags with the necessary clothes and personal items, pile into the car and we’ll meet you there with hot chocolate and a warm campfire. We can accommodate ages 5-14 for the kid’s specific activities. Older or younger ages are welcome to remain with their parents during our activities.

Parent Activities & Information
Sample Itinerary
- Day 1: Arrive after 5pm evening prior to day 1 and settle into camp.
- Day 2: Group meeting and games, kid’s exploration to the desert oasis of Bill Canyon, afternoon family time.
- Day 3: Morning family time, afternoon climbing at “Wall Street” along the Colorado River.
- Day 4: Float trip on the Colorado River, end of program.
