Bring your family to the high country of the Rocky Mountains with Avid4 Adventure this summer. We will be camping at 10,200 feet in a beautiful lakeside forest at the base of Mt. Crested Butte during prime wildflower season. This is one of the premier alpine areas in the country for mountain biking, mountaineering, wildlife viewing and inspiring mountain views. Each day, Avid4 Adventure will provide hiking, a water activity, or climbing instruction for kids on the trip for half the day (giving parents a chance to get out for a bit of recreation on their own), and family time for the other half of each day.Ages

The Crested Butte area of the Rocky Mountains is one America’s premier high country zones. The alpine wildflower displays spreading through meadows and under aspen and fir forests is truly a classic to be experienced. Wonderful trails for hiking and mountain biking wind up down and through this vibrant mountain landscape providing rewarding outings for all ages. Climb a mountain, soak in an alpine lake, or simply enjoy the fresh air and abundant wildlife of this special area. Our most senior staff will facilitate these deluxe camping vacations with full kitchen and meal preparation, family size tents, and all specialized equipment included. As an added treat, Professional Chef Staci Rieder designed all of the meals for our trips. Just pack your bags with the necessary clothes and personal items, pile into the car and we’ll meet you there with hot chocolate and a warm campfire (trips begin after dinner the first day and end mid-afternoon the last day).
